Role purpose

Deliver engaging, compliant, and industry relevant Health & Safety training to external clients. You'll help deliver accredited and in house courses and assess learner competence.

Key responsibilities

Deliver our portfolio of H&S courses which includes:-

Fire Marshal Training

Fire Awareness Training

First Aid Training (FAW and EFAW)

Mental Health Training

Evac Chair Training

Health & Safety Awareness training

Manual Handling Training

ROLO

We are always expanding and developing our training offer so you would be required to assist the team to develop and update training materials, lesson plans, presentations, handouts, and assessments aligned to UK legislation and best practice.

Conduct learner assessments (knowledge and practical), provide constructive feedback, and complete all awarding body documentation accurately and on time.

Maintain training records, contribute to internal/external quality assurance (IQA/EQA) processes, and support centre audits.

Provide subject matter input to clients (e.g., toolbox talks, safety campaigns, competence matrices).

Keep CPD current; monitor changes in UK H&S legislation and guidance and update content accordingly.

Travel to client sites as required and deliver on site/virtual training (some early starts may be needed).

Essential qualifications & requirements

Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET, formerly PTLLS) or higher (e.g., Level 4 CET / Level 5 DET), or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years' practical training experience - preferably in the H&S industry and proven classroom/virtual delivery skills.

Other:

Strong communication and facilitation skills; confident with MS Office/Teams/Zoom and modern learning tools.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
