Manchester City Centre (Hybrid working)
Up to £32,000 per year plus excellent benefits
Are you a people-first HR professional with a passion for employee relations? If navigating complex ER cases, supporting line managers with confidence, and helping shape a positive workplace culture excite you, then this could be your next move.
Our client, a values-driven, highly successful business, is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their collaborative HR team. With a focus on high-quality ER case management, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a fair, inclusive, and supportive employee experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handling a variety of employee relations matters, including absence, grievance, disciplinary, and performance issues, from start to finish.
- Providing pragmatic, legally sound advice to managers, coaching them through tricky conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- Partnering with the wider HR team on continuous improvement, culture, and engagement projects.
- Contributing to policy reviews, process improvements, and people-focused initiatives that support employee wellbeing and retention.
- Acting as a trusted first point of contact for escalated people issues across the business

What You’ll Need:
- Solid HR experience, with a strong track record of managing ER cases independently.
- A confident, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - you’re approachable and influential.
- A CIPD qualification (Level 3 minimum; Level 5 preferred) and strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
