JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood Projects Team are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a 3-month contract based in our Reading office. We operate on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Due to the short-term nature of the role, we are looking for someone with extensive HR experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role provides guidance and coaching for effective people management, responsible for developing and implementing solutions to support leaders across the entire employee life-cycle. This includes working with Centres of Expertise to deliver employee engagement tools, talent management, workforce planning and resourcing, organizational effectiveness, change management, and risk mitigation through effective employee relations. The role also involves developing effective leadership and the appropriate development of people and skills within their area. Acting as counsel on people-related issues, the HR Business Partner will form robust stakeholder relationships with customers, requiring significant influence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job-specific experience:
- Experience in business-focused HR roles within a dynamic organization
- Experience managing change and working cooperatively in a business partnership
- Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks
- Experience dealing with industrial and employee relations issues
Knowledge of:
- Business performance and how it can deliver and add value to customers
- Business service offerings and customer base
- Roles performed in groups/departments served
- External factors affecting the organization
Qualifications:
- CIPD qualified
