Location: Remote working (with quarterly company away days)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday (Full-time)

The Opportunity: Thompson & Terry Recruitment are delighted to be working with a pioneering and people-focused specialist business to recruit a proactive and experienced HR Manager to help lead their exciting growth plans. This is an important generalist HR role with full responsibility for managing the entire HR function. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders, supporting the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, training, compensation and benefits.

The well-established business has grown considerably over the past five years and is now looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager to help anchor its values and support continued development. The successful HR Manager will be part of a collaborative operations team, working independently, while engaging closely with ultra-intelligent and skilled colleagues across the organisation. Additionally, you will work closely with the Marketing Director to deliver internal communications.

In summary, the vacancy of HR Manager would be suited to a generalist HR professional who enjoys managing the full HR cycle and can balance working as part of the management team to deliver their people strategy, whilst holding a strong attention to detail with day-to-day HR duties.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire HR function with responsibility for the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, training, compensation and benefits.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team and Marketing Director to deliver internal communications.
  • Balance day-to-day HR duties with strategic delivery of the people strategy.

Requirements

  • Varied generalist HR experience with a track record for building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable within a regulated/process-driven environment (SC Clearance).
  • A confident and engaging communicator at all levels.
  • Values- and ethically-driven with the desire to positively impact the growth of our client.
  • Highly organised and able to wear many hats within a growing company, while adopting a strategic approach to HR.
