We’re working with a brilliant not-for-profit organisation making a real difference across communities. They’re now looking for a HR Officer to support their growing team with a mix of operational HR tasks and people-focused initiatives.

As a HR Officer, you will:

Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to staff and managers across the organisation

Support with end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes

Maintain and update HR systems, records, and reports, ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance

Assist with employee relations cases, including investigations, sickness, and performance management

Support the delivery and review of HR policies and procedures

Coordinate staff wellbeing, engagement, and learning initiatives

Support with payroll input and benefits administration

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a HR role, ideally within a charity, membership body or not-for-profit

Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and best HR practice

Confident communicator, able to build trusted relationships across all levels

Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail

CIPD Level 3 or above (or working towards) desirable
