Overview

Our client, a leading HR consultancy, is seeking a dynamic People Business Partner to join their expanding team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to provide strategic HR support to a diverse client portfolio while developing strong professional relationships and driving impactful people-focused solutions.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, delivering expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle and ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives.

Location: Hybrid (South West England, with regular travel)

Contract: Full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR partner for a portfolio of clients, providing tailored advice across employee relations, resourcing, organisational development, training, performance management, and business transformation.
  • Lead on HR projects and initiatives, ensuring effective delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities for account growth.
  • Support managers with complex HR challenges, offering practical, commercially focused solutions.
  • Share expertise internally, contributing to a culture of continuous learning within the team.
  • Stay informed on industry and sector trends to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Uphold compliance with HR best practice, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or working towards).
  • Proven experience in a similar role such as HR Business Partner, People Partner, or HR Consultant.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations issues with confidence.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to align HR initiatives to business strategy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel across the South West.

Desirable

  • Experience within HR consultancy.
  • International HR knowledge and/or experience within the TV, film, or production sectors.
  • Competitive salary (circa £55k FTE, depending on experience).
