About the role…
Reporting to the Head of Construction - South Region, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the end-to-end delivery of construction projects for small format products- bus shelters, digital advertising screens, and free-standing ad screens. Your main objective will be ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget. To be successful in this role, travel to multiple sites across the South Coast and visits to several delivery depots to work with construction teams and site managers will be required.
What the role entails…
- Scoping out projects based on tender specifications, commercial briefs, progress reports, and other project information available.
- Working with internal teams to set realistic programs of work and closely partnering with contractors to deliver on time and within budget.
- Developing and maintaining great relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Collaborating closely with Site Inspectors to identify and resolve any concerns on-site.
- Ensuring construction build documentation is accurate, appropriately shared, and stored.
- Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
- Covering the South Coast area, with mainly remote working and occasional meetings at a depot based in Petersfield as needed for business meetings.
What we’re looking for…
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Confident communication – verbal and written
- CDM 2015 and IOSH or SMSTS qualifications
- Experience working across multiple projects on different sites
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 3 points
- Ideally, a recognized project management qualification (but not essential)
- Experience managing projects through online workflow software
