Are you ready to make a significant impact by leading the delivery of projects and driving positive change within E.ON's New Work Delivery team? We are looking for a dedicated individual to work closely with the ICP Residential Manager and Project Engineers to enhance the performance of our depot operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of work programmes by internal and external staff.
- Manage projects delivering electrical connections to various properties, ensuring safety, quality, and deadlines are met.
- Promote a safe working environment and aim for zero accidents.
- Continuously improve work delivery processes to reduce costs.
- Build a strong team culture and develop team members' skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental legislation.
- Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Achieve sales and financial targets.
- Handle customer complaints according to company policies.
- Collaborate with suppliers, consultants, and utility companies.
- Drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Maximize profitability through efficient management of work programmes.
- Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement and high performance.
What we need from you
- Take full responsibility for safety performance on allocated projects and make decisions related to project delivery concerning time, cost, and quality.
- Be responsible for scheduling connections to be achieved safely and compliantly.
- Manage controllable costs and spends on projects to achieve margins and EBIT.
- Have detailed knowledge of Safety Management, Risk Assessment, and safe working procedures.
- Possess commercial awareness, including basic contract law and risk management.
- Have working knowledge of jointing activities and be authorized to set jointers on DNO / IDNO Networks.
- Hold a full driving licence.
- Be self-motivated and proactive, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Possess strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to interact confidently and diplomatically with staff, colleagues, and customers.
