With a bold vision and a significant transformation programme underway, the business is seeking a HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding people strategy at a time of real change.This is an opportunity to deliver meaningful impact by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, embedding best practice across performance and engagement, and partnering closely with senior leadership to enable organisational success. The role is offered as an initial 18-month FTC assignment, with scope to influence the long-term people agenda.What you will doAct as a trusted advisor to business leaders and managers, building strong partnerships that translate business goals into effective people solutions.Support organisational design and workforce planning, ensuring structures enable agility, growth and future capability.Guide change management programmes, supporting leaders and employees through periods of change.Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently, fairly, and in line with employment legislation.Lead on talent management initiatives including succession planning, skills development, and internal mobility.Collaborate closely with the wider HR team (including Talent, L&D, Reward, and Operations) to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to people initiatives across the organisation.Essential experience and capabilitiesProven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar senior HR role.A track record of delivering impactful people initiatives in complex or high growth environments.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, specifically in dynamic environments.Demonstrated experience in organisational design, workforce planning, and change management.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.Strong coaching and advisory skills to support leaders and managers.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Pragmatic, resilient and empathetic, with high emotional intelligence and adaptability.Nice to haveCIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.Track record of delivering initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention.Knowledge of talent management frameworks and leadership development programmes.Previous experience in the not-for-profit / third sector would be an advantage.Benefits and LocationBenefits: Flexible working, discretionary annual bonus, generous pension contribution.Location: London / hybrid (2 days in office)Start-date: ASAPEEO statement: At Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
