We have an exciting opportunity for an Independent Domestic & Sexual Violence Adviser (IDSVA) to join the team in either Westmoreland & Furness or West Cumberland area, working 37.5 hours a week.

Details
- Location: West Cumberland or Westmoreland & Furness, Cumbria
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- Salary: Qualified £28,611.00, Unqualified £26,830.20 per annum
- Contract: Permanent
- DBS and Police vetting required
- Closing Date: 23/07/2025

Role Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, proactive support to victims of domestic and sexual violence
- Work within multi-agency frameworks including MARAC, SARC, and others
- Monitor care pathways, conduct risk assessments, and assist clients in accessing rights and services
- Attend meetings and report regularly to line managers
- Conduct talks and presentations to local groups and agencies to promote the service
Requirements
- Experience working with victims of domestic and sexual violence
- Experience in caseload management and crisis intervention
- Qualified or willingness to work towards an IDVA/ISVA accreditation
- Good IT skills, knowledge of criminal justice issues, and understanding of court processes
