Independent Financial Advisor – South West

We are TC Group, a fast‑growing top 20 accountancy firm. We provide bespoke financial planning, investment, tax and protection services to ambitious business owners and their teams across the South West region, including Truro, Falmouth, Plymouth and surrounding areas.

As a self‑employed Independent Financial Advisor you will work closely with the Director of Financial Planning and TC Partners to deliver holistic advice on investment planning, company investments, inheritance tax planning, pension, life and protection. You will meet clients via Teams and face‑to‑face, travel to appointments and cover other TC offices – a driving licence and car are required.

Key Responsibilities

• establish client contact and develop long‑term relationships
• review existing client circumstances and recommend appropriate solutions
• produce written recommendations and implement agreed solutions
• maintain high standards of client care and demonstrate sound competence throughout the advisory process

Qualifications and Skills

• fully qualified Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning / Financial Advisers – working towards Chartered ideally
• previous experience working with accountants is an advantage
• experienced and current Financial Adviser with a track record of building long‑term client relationships
• ability to self‑manage and communicate confidently with TC Partners and other areas of the business
• technically proficient in tax, investment and protection planning
• good knowledge of personal and company tax planning strategies
• holistic knowledge across protection, pension and investment planning
• organised and professional
