Overview

Industry Engagement Manager (Energy) – Location: London (hybrid). We are looking for a senior leader to take responsibility for external affairs and market engagement in Great Britain. This role will play a key part in supporting our client's UK growth strategy across energy generation, customer supply, electric vehicle charging, and smart energy solutions. The position requires a strong grasp of UK energy policy, proven experience working with regulators and government, and the ability to represent the organisation at the highest levels.

What you’ll be doing

• Act as a trusted representative of the business in the UK energy sector
• Build and manage relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry bodies
• Lead external engagement in committees, advisory groups, and public forums
• Track and interpret developments in energy markets and regulation
• Provide insight and advice on how policy changes affect current and future business activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage risks, identify opportunities, and shape strategy

What we’re looking for

• Extensive senior experience in the UK energy industry
• Background in government relations, stakeholder engagement, regulation, or policy
• Strong analytical ability with experience navigating complex regulatory frameworks
• Skilled communicator with proven stakeholder management capability
• Strategic thinker able to influence decision-making at senior levels
