We are now very excited to grow that team further by hiring a Infrastructure Consultant to join us in supporting out clients.
What you will be doing?
- Assisting with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting within enterprise environments
- Supporting routing and switching protocols on platforms such as Dell, Cisco, and HP/Aruba
- Working with network security technologies including Sophos, Fortigate, and Palo Alto
- Helping to maintain and optimize wireless networking setups (802.11 standards, enterprise WLAN design)
- Supporting WAN technologies like Cisco Meraki and VMware VeloCloud
- Using network monitoring and performance tools to help maintain infrastructure health
- Assisting in configuring network services and integrating networking with identity systems
- Working with VMware and Hyper-V networking technologies (NSX, VXLAN)
- Supporting cloud networking projects within Azure and AWS environments
- Maintaining server operating systems including Windows and Unix/Linux
- Contributing to disaster recovery and high availability network design
- Assisting in delivering Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions and hypervisor environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Local)
- Supporting backup and replication technologies
- Participating in network migrations and transformation projects such as data centre moves, cloud transitions, and hardware refreshes

What are you looking for?
We are looking for a Infrastructure Consultant with experience in enterprise networking, security, and cloud (Azure/AWS). They should be confident with technologies like firewalls, SD-WAN, and routing protocols, and have led major infrastructure or cloud transformation projects.
You will have or be working towards certifications (e.g. CCNP, Azure Architect), strong client-facing skills, and the ability to work independently. Security clearance eligibility and willingness to travel are essential.
Key Skills & Experience
- Practical hands-on experience with networking technologies
- Exposure to project coordination and supporting technical delivery
- Comfortable with client-facing communication and assisting in presentations
- Assisting with network documentation and contributing to architecture design
- Relevant networking certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, progressing towards CCNP)
- Familiarity with VMware VCP or similar virtualization certifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team on client projects
- Enthusiasm for learning and pursuing further certifications
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites
- Commitment to keeping up to date with networking trends and technologies
- Must have or be willing to obtain security clearance (NPPV3 and SC)
Practical stuff
Where is the role based?
This is a remote position but you will be required to visit clients regularly and also come and see us in our HQ monthly, when possible.
