JOB TITLE: Insight Visualisation Manager

SALARY:£59,850pa to £73,150pa plus an extensive benefits package

LOCATION: Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, Halifax, or Chester

HOURS: 35 hours, full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at one of the listed hubs.

Key responsibilities:

1. Translate complex data, research, and insight reports into visually engaging infographics and summaries.
2. Collaborate with insight, strategy, and research teams to understand key messages and tailor visuals accordingly.
3. Create visual templates and design systems to ensure consistency across communications.
4. Stay updated with design trends and best practices in data storytelling and visual communication.
5. Present visual concepts and iterate based on feedback.
6. Ensure all visual outputs align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
7. Support internal communications and leadership teams with visual assets that enhance understanding and engagement.

About you

• Visual Design Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Figma, with a portfolio showcasing modern design.
• Storytelling with data: Experience creating infographics, charts, and visual summaries that distill complex data into engaging narratives.
• Typography & Layout Mastery: Deep understanding of visual hierarchy, spacing, and type pairing.
• Creative Concepting: Ability to brainstorm and develop visual concepts that bring insights to life.
• Branding Consistency: Skilled at working within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in alignment, colour, and formatting for polished outputs.
• Adaptability: Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Values & Behaviours: Collaborative, great teammate, able to interpret briefs and present visual ideas.
