Overview
Cedar is supporting a Local Authority who are looking for a specialist Interim Category Manager with a background/understanding of Energy. This role will run for 3-6 months (potential to extend) and will operate INSIDE IR35 offering a day rate ranged from £425 up to £475 per day. The role will operate on a hybrid working basis but will be primarily remote/home based.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the Director of Procurement, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement projects and manage key stakeholders with a key focus on requirements in Energy (i.e. Electricity, Gas and Water).
Qualifications
- Strong background/understanding of the Energy category – covering various requirements relating to Energy and understanding of routes to market in the Public Sector – this is a key requirement
- Hands on experience running end to end Procurement projects in the Public Sector – this would be advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
