Commercial Finance Manager | 6 Month FTC | £60,000 - £65,000 FTE | Media Group | London Based (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)

A leading media group is seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will support senior finance stakeholders in delivering budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple business units.

The position offers hybrid working and the opportunity to work closely with agency leadership, providing financial insight and driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles across business units, consolidating plans and preparing executive‑level presentations.
• Maintain and update P&L forecasts, including client‑level revenue and cost tracking.
• Conduct monthly revenue reviews with client leads and support strategic decision‑making.
• Deliver profitability analysis, challenge pipeline assumptions, and support contract reviews.
• Collaborate with wider finance teams to ensure strong financial controls and reporting.
• Mentor and support a Commercial Analyst, contributing to team development.

Experience Required

• Proven commercial finance experience, ideally in a multi‑entity or agency environment.
• Strong Excel skills and financial modelling capability.
• Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
• Confident working cross‑functionally with non‑finance stakeholders.
