Lead Strategic Communications for a Leading UK Non-ProfitOur client, a respected UK non-profit organisation, is hiring an Interim Director of Corporate Communications to lead its external communications during a critical period of change. This senior interim role requires a communications leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to protect and enhance the organisation’s reputation.Own External Communications, Reputation & Media RelationsWorking closely with the executive leadership team, you will lead all aspects of corporate communications. This includes proactive media relations, issues management, brand messaging, and stakeholder engagement. Your goal will be to establish a clear and consistent voice for the organisation and support its evolving strategic objectives.Lead Responsibilities – Corporate Communications StrategyDevelop and execute the external communications strategy during a period of transitionLead on reputation management, corporate positioning, and brand clarityAct as a key spokesperson and manage high-level media engagementBuild relationships with national media and key stakeholdersIntroduce effective communications processes and content planning frameworksCollaborate with internal teams to ensure message alignment across channelsSupport the executive team with crisis communications and stakeholder communications as requiredKey Skills & Experience – Interim Director of Corporate CommunicationsProven experience as a Communications Director or senior-level corporate communications leadStrong track record in media relations, reputation management, and external stakeholder engagementExperience in the charity, non-profit, or public sector (desirable but not essential)Strategic mindset with hands-on delivery capabilityConfident advising senior leadership and acting as the organisation’s communications leadExceptional writing, messaging, and editorial skillsWhy Take on This Interim Communications Role?This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the voice and visibility of a well-respected UK non-profit during a pivotal time.
