Senior Finance Business Partner – IT | Central London | Hybrid (2–3 days in office)

A global insurance company is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to partner with the Group CIO and Technology leadership team.

This role sits within the central FP&A team but will require you to work closely within the Technology function.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as the strategic finance partner to the Group CIO and key technology leaders.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for the Group’s Technology function.
• Provide Project Accounting for IT programmes.
• Provide commercial insight into technology investments, operational spend, and transformation programmes.
• Enhance reporting and analysis around technology KPIs, value for money, and ROI.
• Collaborate with Group FP&A to deliver high-quality outputs to senior leadership, the Board, and investors.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong finance business partnering experience—ideally supporting Technology or Digital teams.
• Confident in challenging and influencing senior stakeholders, including CIOs or CTOs.
• Deep understanding of IT cost drivers, capex/opex, and programme delivery frameworks.
• Experience working in large complex multi-national businesses – insurance/financial services is helpful.

The Offer:

• Interim role - £700-£800/day outside IR35 + Bonus + benefits.
• 6 month contract initially – with likely extensions.
• Based in Central London, with a hybrid working model (2–3 days/week in-office).
