They are a fast-growing SaaS company with £20M in annual recurring revenue, delivering innovative, data-driven technology to businesses globally. As they continue to scale, they're seeking an Interim Finance Manager to strengthen our finance operations during a key phase of growth and transformation.

This is a hands‑on, senior‑level role - ideal for an experienced finance professional who thrives in dynamic SaaS environments and can bring both technical expertise and strategic oversight.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll be responsible for owning day‑to‑day finance operations, ensuring compliance and control, and supporting strategic decision‑making. You’ll play a critical role in enhancing reporting, systems, and processes as the business scales.

• Contract: Interim (initial 3–6 months)
• Commitment: 3 days per week (hybrid – London preferred)

Core Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial control and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness under IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Manage the month‑end close process, reconciliations, and preparation of consolidated management accounts.
• Oversee year‑end statutory accounts and coordinate external audit and tax requirements.
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures across the business.
• Support the CFO with cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to drive business decisions.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with SaaS‑related accounting standards.
• Drive process improvement and systems optimisation, including NetSuite implementation and automation opportunities.
• Provide insightful management reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Partner with internal teams to align financial processes with business operations and growth plans.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong technical accounting skills.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager in SaaS or tech environments.
• Deep understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP, including revenue recognition, leases, and financial instruments.
• Strong systems experience – ideally NetSuite.
• Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, scaling businesses with evolving processes.
• Hands‑on, adaptable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior leadership.
