Macmillan Davies are delighted to be supporting a hospitality client in recruiting for an experienced Interim HRBP for a 3-month contract.
Title: HRBP
Length: 3-month contract, inside IR35
Pay: £300 - £350 day rate
Setup: Hybrid, 2/3 days office
Start: ASAP
Location: North London
Duties
Partnering with leadership teams to help build organisation and people capability, resolving strategic business challenges, and embedding a high-performance culture.
Acting as a trusted advisor, coaching, and developing senior leaders on all people-related matters to maximise their impact.
Delivering a commercially focused HR service, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with UK employment law and company policies.
Driving a performance-led culture, influencing people strategies, and embedding company values at all levels.
Managing high-level employee relations, handling complex issues with both a strategic and operational approach.
Collaborating with specialist HR functions (Talent, Reward, Learning & Development, People Relations) to provide expert advice and holistic HR solutions.
Supporting organisational design and change management, ensuring the business structure enables future growth.
Coaching Talent Acquisition partners to enhance recruitment processes and improve candidate and manager experience.
Providing guidance to the People Services Helpdesk, helping to build capability and support HR operational excellence.
There will be an emphasis on people projects, specifically a new People system that will be going live in 2026. You will heavily lean into the change management associated with that (change to the processes and the people).
Qualifications
Proven experience in a strategic HR Business Partner role.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into impactful people solutions.
A passion for coaching senior leadership, helping them enhance their leadership effectiveness.
Expertise in UK employment law and employee relations, with a strong problem-solving and compliance-focused mindset.
The ability to build trusted relationships across a complex organisation and influence key stakeholders.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive culture and championing diverse perspectives.
Experience in organisational design and change management is a plus.
