Macmillan Davies are delighted to be supporting a hospitality client in recruiting for an experienced Interim HRBP for a 3-month contract.

Title: HRBP

Length: 3-month contract, inside IR35

Pay: £300 - £350 day rate

Setup: Hybrid, 2/3 days office

Start: ASAP

Location: North London

Duties

  • Partnering with leadership teams to help build organisation and people capability, resolving strategic business challenges, and embedding a high-performance culture.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, coaching, and developing senior leaders on all people-related matters to maximise their impact.
  • Delivering a commercially focused HR service, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with UK employment law and company policies.
  • Driving a performance-led culture, influencing people strategies, and embedding company values at all levels.
  • Managing high-level employee relations, handling complex issues with both a strategic and operational approach.
  • Collaborating with specialist HR functions (Talent, Reward, Learning & Development, People Relations) to provide expert advice and holistic HR solutions.
  • Supporting organisational design and change management, ensuring the business structure enables future growth.
  • Coaching Talent Acquisition partners to enhance recruitment processes and improve candidate and manager experience.
  • Providing guidance to the People Services Helpdesk, helping to build capability and support HR operational excellence.

There will be an emphasis on people projects, specifically a new People system that will be going live in 2026. You will heavily lean into the change management associated with that (change to the processes and the people).

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a strategic HR Business Partner role.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into impactful people solutions.
  • A passion for coaching senior leadership, helping them enhance their leadership effectiveness.
  • Expertise in UK employment law and employee relations, with a strong problem-solving and compliance-focused mindset.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships across a complex organisation and influence key stakeholders.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive culture and championing diverse perspectives.
  • Experience in organisational design and change management is a plus.
