The Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to provide strategic financial guidance and hands‑on support during this important period. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the company s financial management, reporting, and planning processes, ensuring robust financial control and commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow control.
• Provide strategic financial advice to support business planning and decision-making.
• Develop and implement improved financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Produce accurate and timely management accounts and board reports.
• Lead the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
• Support funding, investment, and growth initiatives as required.
• Mentor and upskill the existing finance team, ensuring strong internal capability.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven track record as a Finance Director or senior finance leader in an SME environment.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management and commercial finance.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic approach comfortable working both strategically and operationally.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Availability for a part-time, interim engagement (typically 2 3 days per week).
