Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Monitor and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and value for money.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements.
- Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on procurement best practices.
- Prepare reports on procurement performance for senior management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Procurement Lead should have:
- Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the not-for-profit or public sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate procurement data and identify opportunities.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams to meet organisational needs.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

- Daily rate of approximately £450 to £550, inside IR35, depending on experience.
