A local authority in Hertfordshire is looking to hire a Rural Estates Surveyor to join their team.

Job Title: Interim Rural Estates Surveyor

Location: Hertfordshire

Contract Length: 3 months (with the potential for extension)

Working Arrangements: 2 days per week in the office, 3 days working remotely

Day Rate: £425 - £500 (DOE) per day Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting rent reviews and lease renewal negotiations.
• Managing landlord and tenant relations, including resolving issues and nurturing long-term partnerships.
• Preparing Red Book-compliant property valuations.
• Performing regular site inspections to assess property condition and compliance.
• Undertaking a range of general surveying responsibilities.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in the public sector is desirable.
• MRICS qualification is preferable.
