Overview

Interim Service Delivery Manager / ITIL Consultant — Interim role for a PE-backed Tech4Good providing wearable tech and tablet-based solutions to support independent living for the ageing population. Base pay range: £450-£550/day (Outside IR35).

The role ensures day-to-day delivery and operational stability of external IT services, working with Technical Operations, Change Management, and suppliers to prevent outages, maintain performance, and drive continual service improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation and monitoring of IT systems and services for service availability, capacity, and performance.
  • Define, negotiate, and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
  • Lead service reviews with internal teams and external suppliers, identifying areas for improvement, single points of failure, and effective mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Operations or Service Delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, plus ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Proven ability to manage operational stability and incident avoidance, with a strong track record of delivering SLAs in a live service environment.

  • Location: Home based; Southeast England (travel to offices in the South of England & East Anglia as needed).
