We are looking for an experienced Shares Platform Implementation Consultant to lead the end-to-end implementation of a new equity management system. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Ledgy, though experience with similar equity or share plan platforms (such as Carta, Global Shares, or Shareworks) will also be considered.

This is a great opportunity for a specialist who enjoys working in fast‑paced, PE‑backed environments and can bring both technical know‑how and practical delivery expertise to ensure a smooth and efficient rollout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of the new shares and equity platform, ensuring seamless integration with existing HR, finance, and payroll systems

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal, and IT) to define requirements, map processes, and deliver a fit‑for‑purpose solution

  • Manage data migration, testing, and validation to ensure accuracy and compliance across global entities

  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and post‑launch support for key users

  • Ensure the new platform aligns with company governance, reporting, and compliance requirements

  • Act as the subject‑matter expert on equity management, providing insights and guidance throughout the implementation phase

  • Collaborate with external vendors and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely delivery

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience implementing Ledgy or similar equity management systems (e.g., Carta, Shareworks, Global Shares, Capdesk)

  • Strong understanding of share plans, equity programmes, and employee ownership structures

  • Previous experience working in a Private Equity–backed business is essential

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear business outcomes

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment

  • Initial term: 3 months (potential for extension)

  • Hybrid: 2 days per week in London
