In this role, you will be part of a high-impact team focused on ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of CI/CD systems. You will work on data-intensive challenges, designing and implementing solutions that help organizations manage and optimize their CI/CD infrastructure at scale. From improving database performance to enhancing observability, you'll have the opportunity to influence the technical direction of core platform features. Collaboration is central to this position, as you'll work closely with engineers, product teams, and infrastructure specialists in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Accountabilities

  • Implementing performance and scale improvements for CI/CD platforms in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborating with engineering and infrastructure teams to define best practices for platform sustainability and system quality.
  • Developing reliable, secure, and efficient backend solutions with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code while ensuring adherence to internal standards.
  • Addressing technical debt and proposing solutions that enhance team efficiency.
  • Participating in technical discussions, assessing feasibility, and contributing to proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Taking ownership of platform stability and availability while shipping small features independently and larger projects collaboratively.

Requirements

  • Professional experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working on platforms or complex applications (large-scale experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems, internal tooling, and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, suitable for remote and asynchronous collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience in agile, iterative development processes.
  • Strong self-management, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate across teams.
