Mobile Developer / iOS Developer - Outside IR35 - Basically fully remote - 1 day a month - 4 month contract

We’re working with an exciting FinTech client as they go through a transformation project of their mobile app, the app is pretty good at the moment but they want to revamp it and make it more customer centric and improve the UX, as well as add new features and functionality. They’re mid way through the project and need some additional people to help speed up and drive the delivery of this programme.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Swift-based iOS applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver new features.
• Implement secure coding practices to meet regulatory and compliance standards (FCA, PSD2, GDPR).
• Integrate APIs, SDKs, and third-party services into iOS applications.
• Optimise application performance, ensuring smooth user experience and minimal crashes.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release processes.
• Stay updated on iOS trends, Apple guidelines, and Fintech regulations.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Swift and iOS SDKs.
• Experience with Objective-C is a plus.
• Familiarity with Xcode, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Core Data.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, GraphQL.
