Our Financial Services Business Risk Services (FS BRS) practice helps organisations manage risk, improve operational processes and realise strategic objectives. Our Service Auditor Reporting (SAR) team supports clients from readiness assessments to Type 1 and Type 2 reviews across standards including ISAE 3402, SOC 2 and AAF 01/20. The team combines diverse skills to provide tailored, flexible, and cost-effective SAR solutions with access to industry best practices and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the effective completion of engagements, including:
• Assisting with the preparation of draft planning memoranda/planning documents
• Delivering fieldwork in accordance with GT methodologies, ensuring testing is sufficient and evidence supports key decisions
• Reviewing fieldwork of audit team members and providing oversight of engagements; assist directors with client portfolios where necessary
• Supporting the delivery of engagements in line with SOC 1, SOC 2, ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000 and AAF 01/20 standards
• Holding close-out meetings with clients to ensure understanding and agreement of issues
• Drafting and reviewing SAR reports to a high standard; ensuring factual accuracy and tailored recommendations with minimal director/Partner input
• Involvement in business development including proposals, pitch presentations, contribution to thought leadership and collateral, and identifying new business opportunities with clients

Minimum criteria and qualifications

Joining us as IT Audit Assistant Manager – Service Auditor Reporting within the FS BRS team, the minimum criteria include:

• Experience delivering controls assurance and IT internal or external audits within the UK
• Service Auditor Reporting experience on UK clients
• Confidence in managing a portfolio of SAR clients

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but you don’t need to tick every box—we’ll help you develop along the way:

• A professional qualification (ACA, CISA, CISM, CISP, or similar)
• Experience within Financial Services
• Experience of preparation and delivery of presentations
• Experience of managing and developing team members
