* Work with Senior Audit Management for direction; but ultimately lead the end-to-end audit.* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to influence improvements in the risk and control frameworks.* Help Hargreaves Lansdown accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management and control processes across all business areas, influencing them to make improvements.* Apply strong analytical skills to consider how data can be mined for data lead insights and effective audit testing.* Work on one’s own initiative or leading small teams that may include third party auditors using strong management and coaching skills.* Confidently feed into the audit planning process using a strategic standpoint, built on experience.* Always seek to consider improvements in methodology and general ways of working including maintenance of an effective QA framework.* Lead and participate in development opportunities for the audit function such as how we can better use automation or Artificial Intelligence.* CISA or other relevant qualifications such as CRISC/CISSP.* Experienced in auditing technical Security and Resilience IT controls across the technology stack, for example at application and infrastructure layers.* Experienced with both on-premise and in Cloud environments.* Experienced in auditing transformation/change, in particular IT change.* Working knowledge of data analytics.* Minimum two years’ experience in IT internal auditing in financial services.* Strong analytical/communication and influencing skills.* Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.* Proactive and well-practised in effective multi-tasking.The role is **based in our Bristol head office,** BS1 5HL.
