Position Overview
The Group Audit (GA) function takes a proactive, risk-based and independent approach to assist the Bank’s business and infrastructure functions to identify key control weaknesses. You will be joining the global GA Private Banking Application & Digitalisation Technology team reporting to the global Principal Audit Manager (PAM) responsible for covering the Bank’s technology risks and controls across Private Banking and Digitalisation activities covering emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics process automation and cloud computing.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day IT audit work and will contribute to the delivery of audits (including risk assessment profiles and continuous monitoring) in line with Deutsche Bank Group Audit Methodology.
- Execute and document IT audit fieldwork in line with the agreed audit approach and budget, including documenting activity flows, testing of key controls (including IT application management, automated controls, IT general control) to determine whether they are adequately designed and are operating effectively.
- Focusing on the technology risks, the candidate will collaborate with other divisional/teams to guarantee an integrated approach during audit engagement covering core banking activities, business process outsourcing, regulatory requirements, external vendors and complex project implementation.
- Discuss exceptions identified to enable drafting of high-quality impactful audit findings for review by PAM and, whenever required by Group Audit Methodology, to facilitate issue tracking and validate closure of issues.
- Proactively develop and maintain professional working relationships with audit colleagues, internal stakeholders and respective support areas.
Your Skills And Experience
- An audit professional who is a self-starter and is able to interact effectively at senior levels.
- Demonstrable audit and IT knowledge and experience and an understanding of Information Security, IT processes and risks.
- Able to work independently with limited oversight, learn complex concepts quickly, build strong relationships, be resilient under pressure, working collaboratively with other audit teams globally.
- Conversant with key principles of an internal control system, risk-based auditing and should clearly understand the relationship between IT risk and underlying business risk.
- Able to demonstrate an innovative mindset and can develop ideas, which are implemented and have a positive impact. Coupled with excellent written/verbal communication Skills in English (and preferably in German).
