IT Analyst / IT Engineer / Stoke on Trent office / Field work, nationwide UK

Looking for an experienced, technical, hands on IT Analyst with strong engineering skills who is happy to work in the office and travel across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an amazing client who is growing. You will assist them on their journey by helping with acquisitions, a seamless IT infrastructure, helping with office refits, refurbs so a varied and exciting role. You will have strong IT infrastructure support, networking experience with LAN/WAN, Cisco switches, firewalls and wireless tech.

You will join a small team maintaining and deploying network, hardware, and AV systems across UK offices. This would suit a strong communicator, who likes working in a team collaboratively but also very capable of working independently, who is proactive and like variety.

Responsibilities

  • Hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance of equipment including MFDs, wireless access points, Cisco switches, firewalls, and AV systems.
  • Troubleshooting and optimising network performance.
  • Implementing standards and supporting firewall setups and network segmentation.
  • Maintain and deploy network, hardware, and AV systems across UK offices as part of a small team.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Strong IT infrastructure support and networking experience (LAN/WAN).
  • Experience with Cisco switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Proactive, good communicator, and able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK; office work in Stoke or being on the road visiting other offices.
  • Must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.
  • Driving licence mandatory.

  • Nationwide travel – expenses for petrol, overnight stays, and meals are covered by the client.
  • Based near Stoke offices with flexibility for travel.
