IT Infrastructure Project Manager - Structured Cabling
Location: Hounslow, London, UK
Contract: Initial 6 months +
Rate: INSIDE IR35 Contract
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of project management strategies in a high-stakes airport environment.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of optical cabling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manage contracts effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within budget and timelines.
- Ensure adherence to CDM 2025 regulations and NEC contracts, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation within the project management team.
Experience
- Previous experience working at an Airport or Rail
- In-depth knowledge of Civil & Infrastructure projects, emphasis on structured cabling.
- Familiarity with transport network operations and the integration of advanced technology solutions.
- Experienced in building services, i.e retail outlets
- Strong background in supplier management, with the ability to negotiate and maintain productive relationships.
- Comprehensive understanding of CDM 2025 regulations contract management
- NEC3/NEC4 Contract Management Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- CDM 2015
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
