IT Project Coordinator

Auriga Services is seeking a talented IT Project Coordinator to join our team. We’ve been dedicated to creating lasting impacts for those facing poverty for two decades.

Role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support for IT projects, ensuring tasks are tracked and deadlines met.
  • Assist with project documentation, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
  • Support the IT Manager in managing project timelines, budgets, and communications.
  • Help with testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of new systems and upgrades.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation including system configurations and process guides.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and support system improvements.
  • Assist in researching new technologies and tools to improve efficiency across the organisation.
  • Provide basic technical support to operational teams and escalate issues as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in an IT support, operations, or coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Interest in AI, automation, or digital transformation.
  • Project management or business analysis certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile Fundamentals).
  • Experience in the not-for-profit or public sector.

Salary: £26,680 – £33,350 FTE - dependant on skills and experience

Location: Hybrid - minimum of 1 day in the office - based in Birmingham City Centre (near to New Street train station)

Contract term: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
