Overview
We’re working with a Derby-based technology business to help them recruit an experienced Project Manager. This is a fantastic role for someone with 4+ years’ project management experience who thrives on structure, documentation, and driving projects forward in a customer-facing environment. The company delivers complex IT solutions across enterprise-scale and secure environments, so they’re looking for someone who can not only plan and document effectively, but also represent them confidently to clients. You’ll also oversee and support technical colleagues within the business, so an ability to work closely with delivery teams is key.
Responsibilities
- Plan and document projects effectively to support delivery within customer-facing environments
- Represent the company confidently to clients and manage client expectations
- Oversee and support technical colleagues within the business, working closely with delivery teams
- Contribute to governance and project planning processes
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years’ experience managing IT projects end-to-end
- Prince2 qualified (or equivalent recognised PM qualification)
- Strong background in project planning, governance, and documentation
- Comfortable being client-facing and managing customer expectations
- Experience working with or overseeing technical teams (developers, engineers, etc.)
- A self-sufficient individual who can take ownership, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver results
- Eligible for SC clearance (UK resident for the last 5 years)
