Main purpose of the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Security Officer to join us, based from our Head Office in Doncaster with agile/hybrid working. Reporting into the Head of Technology and Cybersecurity, the successful candidate will manage the company's Security and Cybersecurity programme. This includes identifying, evaluating, and reporting on legal, regulatory, IT, and cybersecurity risks to information assets while supporting business objectives. The role ensures compliance with industry regulations, protects sensitive information, and fosters a culture of security within Keepmoat.

We are looking for someone who will be comfortable developing and owning the IT Security Manual, identifying and understanding risks and security gaps within the business and demonstrating knowledge of those risks and compliance in order to guide and mentor other members of the team and wider business. They will be accountable for both cyber and information security, ensuring that Keepmoat maintains alignment to all statutory and regulatory compliance including GDPR and PCI-DSS.

We are an engaging IT team who strive to be proactive, and solutions focused, so it is imperative that the IT Security Manager is competent with discussing current issues and presenting future initiatives with the business and vendors appropriately. They will have previous experience of performing risk assessments against internal and external systems, as well as experience designing, implementing and maintaining risk and compliance policies, plans and systems.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to occasionally travel to our sites to fulfil the duties of the position.
