The IT Strategy & Innovation Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the organisation's IT strategy, fostering innovation, and exploring emerging technologies, especially AI. They create strategic roadmaps, monitor project progress, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and promote a culture of innovation to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experiences.
What You Will Do
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisation's IT strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with business objectives. They will work closely with key stakeholders to communicate technology initiatives effectively, driving innovation and efficiency across the organisation.
- Creates implementation roadmaps for strategic IT projects and monitors their progress to ensure timely achievement of objectives.
- Identifies opportunities for innovation, explores emerging trends and industry best practices, and pilots new technologies, processes, or products.
- Lead the development and execution of the AI strategy for the organisation, identifying opportunities for AI implementation across key business functions
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experiences.
- Promotes creative problem-solving and experimentation within teams to drive innovation across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating and managing strategic roadmaps for IT initiatives, ensuring clear direction and alignment with business objectives. They will have strong experience in monitoring progress, tracking key milestones, and making necessary adjustments to drive successful outcomes.
- Proven ability to identify and drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
- Experience in fostering a culture of innovation and creative problem-solving within teams
- Experience in AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing
