Are you passionate about solving technical challenges and keeping IT systems running smoothly? Join our dynamic team as an IT Support Specialist, where you\'ll play a key role in supporting our UK operations and ensuring seamless IT experiences for employees and contractors.
Reporting Line
You\’ll report directly to the UK ICT Manager, providing both 1st and 2nd line support across a range of hardware, software, and network systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide responsive 1st and 2nd level IT support to end users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Liaise with external service providers (e.g., printing, mobile, audio) to ensure continuity and quality.
- Participate in IT projects including upgrades, deployments, and system improvements.
- Prepare IT assets for onboarding and manage their lifecycle.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure physical security and tidiness in the data centre.
- Manage administrative privileges, passwords, and user access in line with internal policies.
- Update technical documentation to support troubleshooting and error resolution.
- Handle support requests, incidents, and resolutions using ServiceNow.
What We\’re Looking For
- Experience: 5–7 years in 1st and/or 2nd line support within a helpdesk team, ideally in an engineering or similar technical environment.
- Education: HNC, HND, or Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HW/SW troubleshooting, network protocols, SCCM, Active Directory, Cisco.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in MS365, Windows OS, and ServiceNow.

- Contract Type: PAYE contractor, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
