About the Role

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys looking after systems, solving problems, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This role is all about caring for our IT infrastructure and helping our staff and volunteers stay equipped to do what they do best — building church and reaching people.

You’ll work alongside our external managed service provider to maintain, develop, and improve our IT systems across Hillsong UK. From managing hardware and software to supporting staff with tech needs, your work will directly support the mission of the church.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as the main contact between Hillsong UK and our external IT service provider.
• Provide second-line support for staff IT queries and requests.
• Manage hardware and software setup, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Oversee IT inductions and offboarding processes for staff.
• Maintain system security and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Manage software licenses and ensure we’re getting the best value.
• Administer MS365 and related environments (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange).
• Support hybrid working systems, including meeting room technology (Zoom, etc.).
• Lead on continuous improvement projects like moving to cloud-based environments.
• Explore opportunities to use AI and automation to enhance systems and efficiency.
• Support the IT needs for Hillsong Conference and other large events.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise well.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• A calm and patient approach to end-user support.
• A problem-solver who enjoys making tech work for people.
• Good understanding of MS365, SharePoint, Teams, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience supporting macOS and Windows environments.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in IT support, ideally within a multi-site or non-profit setting.
• Security training or certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Kandji or similar MDM tools is an advantage.
