Join a leading publishing company as a Junior Commercial Analyst, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while kick-starting your accounting career.

You’ll be part of a supportive commercial finance team, working closely with senior finance leaders and collaborating across functions such as Sales, Editorial, Marketing, Production, and Design.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Preparing acquisition P&Ls and profitability reviews
• Supporting month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting
• Preparing clear, accurate reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
• Providing ad-hoc analysis to help drive commercial decision-making

What we’re looking for

• A degree (2:1 or equivalent) with strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Desire to pursue a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
• Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work to tight deadlines
• A genuine interest in publishing is a big plus!
