An established, high-growth VC-backed media business is seeking a motivated Junior FP&A Analyst to join their expanding finance team. This newly created position offers a rare opportunity to establish an FP&A function, gaining hands-on exposure to financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities

  • Support financial planning cycles - Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and re-forecasts in partnership with key business stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Deliver insightful analysis - Produce variance analysis and performance reporting to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Enhance reporting processes - Help develop new reporting tools and dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making across the business.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders - Work closely with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights that support strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvements - Contribute ideas and solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in FP&A processes.

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic background - Finance-related degree and/or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Analytical mindset - Strong problem-solving ability with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Tech and data affinity - Comfortable using Excel and Power BI / Tableau (or other BI software), with an interest in learning new tools and techniques.
  • Collaborative approach - Clear communicator who enjoys working across teams and building relationships.
  • Growth potential - Ambitious, adaptable, and eager to develop skills within a scaling, change-driven environment.
