This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting business area within Samsung UK. Supporting the Mobile Enhancement Products (MEP) Category team, including Smartwatch, Audio and Accessories, to create, co-ordinate and deliver our targets in our direct and indirect channel partners.
Role And Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
- Deeply understand, interpret and champion Samsung MEP products, the market, its consumers, channels and competitors within Samsung UK & IE MX (Mobile Experience), Europe Office/Suwon & reflect within the plan.
- Be a central point of contact across the categories for a holistic view and support on Product Set-ups for customers, annual Management Plan and monthly target setting, Kick Off, Customer NPI Meetings, & Delegation Preparation.
- Assist the MEP PMs to actively track and report the status of the sell-out of the plan, identifying and analysing areas of below plan performance. Go deep to understand what is behind the performance and make fast recommendations on how to correct or offset. Taking a lead on projects to support MX growth & development.
- Support the sell-out (AP2) forecasting for MEP products at SKU level (customer, colour, memory variant).
- Support the response to changes in the market and actual performance to update, evolve and implement new activities and actions to achieve SEUK MX KPIs and objectives within any given period.
- Manage the product set-up process, both with Suwon and channels completing the required set-up forms and proof reading copy.
- Understand and communicate USP and feature hierarchy to support Samsung Shop and our channel partners with product assets and digital page creation.
- Ensure administrative tasks relating to SKU creation, .com, logistics and product specifications, product certificates are completed within channel deadlines.
- Liaise with HQ with regards to various operational product requests and queries and look to drive efficiency of the information sharing process.

- Shown experience in the area of Product Management
- Product Lifecycle management experience with technical proficiency
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Strong numeracy/commercial competence
- Exceptional skills in Microsoft office packages especially excel
- Strong verbal, written and presentation abilities
- Experience handling P&L, delivering profitability with low margins
- Creative thinking
- Self-motivator and self-starter
- Excellent communications skills with the capability to present to key team members

- UK Account teams, Technical Product Engineering, Marketing Execution, Brand, HQ teams, ETO/EHQ, Supply Chain and Marketing.
- Research Agencies/Business Partners /Promotional Agencies
- There will be two stages of interview (1. General Introduction, 2. Competency-based interview)
- Interviewee’s will be Line Manager, another Team Head, and Head of Category Management Department.
- Second interview will also require a presentation, on given subject.
