Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to manage, expand, and grow our portfolio of existing contingent workforce clients across EMEA, including MSP partnerships. This role is part relationship manager, part sales professional – responsible for protecting existing business while identifying and securing new revenue streams within assigned accounts. You will develop strategic account plans, build strong multi-level relationships, and position MarkJames Search as the partner of choice for contingent talent solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a defined portfolio of existing contingent workforce accounts across EMEA, ensuring retention and revenue expansion.
- Proactively identify new contacts, departments, and business units within existing accounts to promote and sell our services.
- Drive account growth through consultative selling, cross-selling, and upselling of contingent workforce solutions.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders (HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, and Hiring Managers) and MSP program teams.
- Work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure successful fulfilment of requirements and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Attend regular client and MSP review meetings, presenting performance data, market trends, and value-add insights.
- Monitor market intelligence and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities within accounts.
- Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and account plans in CRM systems.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record in sales or account management within a staffing agency or MSP/RPO environment, with a focus on contingent workforce solutions.
- Demonstrated success in expanding revenue and building new relationships within existing client accounts.
- Strong understanding of MSP programs, vendor management systems (VMS), and contingent workforce compliance requirements (e.g., IR35, AUG license, local labour laws).
- Commercially astute, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Exceptional relationship-building ability at all levels, from hiring managers to C-suite executives.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
