The role
We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales team in the UK&I. This is a critical role focused on strengthening and growing relationships with our key customers. You will act as the primary liaison between accounts and internal teams, driving strategic partnerships, increasing revenue, and ensuring exceptional service to priority clients.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow strategic relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Identify and capture opportunities to increase account value through upselling, cross-selling, and tailored solutions.
- Proactively prospect and secure new strategic accounts to expand market presence.
- Manage onboarding for new customers, annual communication plans, and commercial cooperation contract negotiations.
- Oversee financial performance by optimizing pricing, monitoring margins, and aligning trade terms.
- Ensure accurate stock monitoring, forecasting, and prioritization of customer offer products.
- Lead joint business planning and negotiation processes.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs as defined by the commercial strategy.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery.
- Support the roll-out of campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Represent Weber at national and regional retail trade shows.
- Monitor account performance using key metrics and provide regular insights to stakeholders.
- Prepare and lead business reviews, sales meetings, and internal workshops.
- Elevate customer product knowledge through onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Vast experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Commercial roles within UK&I.
- Demonstrated success in managing large or strategic retail, distribution, or B2B accounts.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
Location
Hybrid role, with up to 3 days a week in the office and travel as required.
