Position Summary
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for the day-to-day management of account needs across all business categories. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of accounts and collaborating closely with sales leadership to implement strategic initiatives that drive growth.
The KAM will own the seasonal sales calendar for assigned businesses across Pro Standard and Off-White, working cross-functionally to ensure timely execution and alignment across all departments. They will serve as a key point of contact for retail partners, preparing client-facing presentations, and leading sales meetings across all product categories.
Additionally, the role includes responsibility for developing and expanding new and existing business, building strong customer relationships, and leveraging their retail network to increase the brand's visibility in top fan and fashion stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day needs and communications across assigned accounts.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Visit retail partners regularly to maintain strong relationships, showcase new collections, and offer in-person support.
- Lead customer-facing sales meetings and prepare professional presentations for product sell-in.
- Manage and nurture existing accounts to maximize sales potential and ensure long-term partnership growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales support, merchandising, marketing, operations) to ensure timely product delivery and account satisfaction.
- Maintain accountability to seasonal calendar and internal deadlines across Pro Standard and Off-White accounts.
- Curate assortments on the Brand Boom wholesale platform.
- Provide real-time customer and market feedback to internal teams to inform future strategy.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in both account management and new business development, ideally in the sportswear, fashion, or streetwear industries.
- Existing network of key and major retailers in your territory/region.
- Ability to lead client conversations with professionalism and strategic insight.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong organizational skills.
- Passion for sports, fashion, or both.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and trade shows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Brand Boom is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
