Role Description

This is a full-time HYBRID role for a Landscape Architect based in Pitstone, must be able to commute to the office atleast 2 times a week, with some work from home acceptable. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing landscape projects. Daily tasks include creating planting plans, developing landscape designs, and collaborating with clients and team members to bring projects to life.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• You’ll have a degree in landscape architecture, but we’ll also welcome experienced garden designers with a diploma in garden design.
• You’ll have strong design skills, and you’ll understand how to conduct effective site analysis that translates into a coordinated design.
• You’ll have a good knowledge of planting and planting styles.
• You’ll be experienced in using 2D AutoCAD, InDesign, Sketch Up and Photoshop.
• You’ll be fluent in both spoken and written English.
• You’ll be organised, analytical and manage your time efficiently.
• You’ll have a general understanding of planning legislation and how this relates to projects.
• You’ll have a reasonable understanding of landscape construction including monitoring construction work and site reporting.

PERSONAL MANAGEMENT

• You’ll arrive promptly for work and keep any appointments you make.
• Emails should be filed regularly and responded to in an efficient and professional manner.
