Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Laundry, the Junior Product Manager – Laundry will support the creation and execution of the category strategy, contributing to the UK Home Appliance strategy.
Purpose of the role
- Contribute to the development and support of the Laundry product strategy for the UK.
- Support communication of business priorities, translating HQ vision into UK-specific plans.
- Work with the Senior Product Manager on P&L accountability and budget ownership for profitable growth.
- Conduct data analysis of sell-in, sell-out, and market performance to drive growth.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial teams to develop propositions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
Product Strategy
- Coordinate with UK, Korean, and EU HQ for product setup with key channel partners before launch.
- Review and support the delivery of the Laundry category strategy.
- Set competitive RRP and invoice prices for Laundry products.
- Analyze weekly sell-out figures and external data to monitor performance and identify trends.
- Provide information for product lifecycle management and investment decisions.
Market Strategy
- Coordinate with Channel Marketing and Brand teams on product communication.
- Support segmentation strategies for Laundry products in the UK.
- Assist in developing promotional plans and financial simulations.
- Monitor competitor strategies and communicate insights.
- Review and approve marketing and training assets.
P&L Accountability
- Support the delivery of margin, revenue, and stock targets.
- Conduct ROI analyses and support financial modeling.
- Assist in budget planning cycles.
Forecasting & Stock Management
- Input weekly forecasts into supply chain systems.
- Coordinate with demand planning and sales teams on supply levels and plan variations.
- Manage aged or surplus stocks with proactive actions.
Launch Management
- Contribute to new product launch plans.
- Coordinate stakeholders for launch delivery.
- Find solutions to launch challenges and long-term issues.
