Lead Clinical Technician

We’re looking for a dynamic Pharmacy Technician to join Phlo as our Lead Clinical Technician. This is a newly created role that will work directly with both Prescribing Services Manager and Clinical Services Manager to set and execute the company’s clinical vision.
You’ll be an experienced pharmacy technician but more importantly, a brilliant manager. A key focus of this role will be managing, coaching and developing our growing team of technicians. As a start-up moving into our scale-up phase, someone with exposure to this environment is desirable.
The Job
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:
- Responsible for managing a team of digital pharmacy technicians providing day-to-day guidance and clinical oversight
- Delivering team training, motivating and mentoring the team to maintain high-quality, consistent care aligning with wider business goals and company vision
- High quality triaging of treatments offered by Phlo
- Conduct and assist with audits, contributing to and creating new guidelines and SOPs
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Services Manager and Prescribing Services Manager on team performance, service development, and clinical governance
- Provide clinical input to Product and Marketing teams to support service development, content accuracy, and customer experience
Ideally, we’re looking for someone with the following:
- Pharmacy Technician NVQ3 qualification is essential
- A qualified and experienced pharmacy technician with a strong understanding of digital healthcare
- A confident communicator and mentor with leadership aspirations or experience
- Organised, proactive, and quality-focused
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with clinical and non-clinical teams
- Passionate about safe, effective, and accessible patient care
