We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to drive the next phase of growth in EMEA. This role combines technical leadership, architecture design, and hands-on development, with a strong focus on operational excellence at scale. You will manage a team of engineers, mentor junior talent, and collaborate closely with product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused solutions. Accountabilities



  • Directly manage and mentor a pod of engineers to accelerate growth in the EMEA region.

  • Lead by example as an individual contributor, delivering high-quality code and driving technical excellence.

  • Define and evolve overall system architecture in alignment with engineering and product goals.

  • Analyze metrics and customer usage to inform product decisions and prioritize initiatives.

  • Build engineering execution plans, assign work, and oversee the progress of the pod.

  • Run pod processes autonomously, escalating when needed.

  • Participate in hiring, interviewing, and team-building efforts.


Requirements



  • 5-8+ years of engineering experience, including significant time as an individual contributor.

  • 3+ years of proven experience leading successful engineering teams.

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and backend application development.

  • Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality, scalable products.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building consensus and credibility across diverse teams.

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and disciplined work ethic.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and accountability.

  • Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical decision-making.
