About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Fire Safety Consultant who is passionate about delivering the GOLD Standard in fire safety solutions in Building Safety, to contribute to our growing team of subject matter experts, supporting our clients with their duties under the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021.

In this role you will be undertaking various fire safety specialist related consulting including developing a building safety case report, building safety advisory in collaboration with other competent persons as well as undertake the development of Building Safety Management Systems, fire strategies, fire management plans as an example, to close gaps for clients.

This is a hybrid role with little travel and is suited to a candidate who wishes to spend significant amounts of their time working from home. There will be 2-5 days at the office or on site expected per month, as an example.

Qualifications & Memberships

• Full member of a relevant institution, such as the IFE or IFSM

• Minimum Level 4 Fire Safety Diploma (or equivalent) such as CFPA-E Dip, etc.

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and report writing ability

• Capability to multi-task and manage multiple projects

• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions for our clients

• Strong interpersonal skills and report writing ability as well as a comprehensive understanding of current UK regulations

Job Specifics

• We are offering a competitive package (subject to location, skills, experience and track record).

• This is a home-based role, with project specific site attendance requirements on occasion
