Connector of Technologists & Great Companies Lead Technology Infrastructure Engineer | London (Hybrid) We’re seeking a Lead Technology Infrastructure Engineer to help shape the next generation of cloud-first infrastructure for a major UK financial institution. You’ll play a key role in a large‑scale Azure transformation, ensuring systems are secure, automated, and built for performance. Build, support, and evolve core infrastructure systems across on‑prem, virtual, and cloud environments. Lead and contribute to our migration to independent, cloud‑hosted platforms. Implement and maintain enterprise services, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. Drive automation, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code adoption across teams. Produce clear technical documentation and manage projects, changes, and escalations.

What You Should Have

Strong experience with Azure Services (AD, Functions, Logic Apps, Automation). Proven skills with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Intune, and Defender for Endpoint. Advanced scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) and Terraform for IaC. Deep understanding of backup, recovery, and networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing). Experience with Okta, Exchange Online, Mimecast, Netskope, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Atlassian tools. Strong knowledge of security protocols (SSO, OAuth, SAML) and firewall management. Proven track record in Agile delivery, governance, and risk‑aware solution design. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
